A gentle 3-day invitation to slow down, step outside, and reconnect - with nature and yourself. Dear Reader, This morning’s walk through the woods offered one of those quiet resets that seem to arrive when you’re paying attention. The boys had their “eyes-in” ( or 'ditch vision' switched on, as one of our friends, Ben, calls it) - and as we moved slowly, we noticed more: These encounters - small, alive, unhurried - are what keep pulling us back outside. They’re also what inspired the Mini Nature Quest, which begins tomorrow. It’s a simple offering: Although designed with children in mind, we believe everyone carries a child within. You’ll receive: It’s free. It’s light. And it’s a chance to reset your relationship with the natural world, even just for a few days. 👉 Subscribe here to receive the daily quests We begin tomorrow, July 23rd. Dear Reader, It’s been a month since our last letter. We’ve been busy. The house build continues here at Wild Finca — plastering, endless roofing, and so many decisions! And then, amidst all that, quite suddenly, spring seems to have sprung! January was relentless with storms. Last week, when we visited the beach, we found three dead Puffins washed ashore — a sobering reminder of how wild and fragile winter can be. So we are especially grateful to feel we’re coming through the other side. In...
Dear Reader,We have something special to share with you this week. Last spring our lovely friends Penny and Dave Green visited us here at Wild Finca. You may remember the newsletter afterwards - full of moth trapping, bio-blitzing, and all sorts of other magical nature activities. While they were here, Penny also recorded a conversation with us for her wonderful podcast The Wandering Ecologist. Listening back feels like stepping straight into an Asturian spring day - birds calling, pond...
